Meet Sarah
I am a Doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I also earned a secondary Master's degree. I earned my first Master’s degree in Counseling and Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri, in Columbia, Missouri and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.
After graduation in 2025, I will pursue a career as a licensed clinical and sport psychologist. My therapeutic services have reached adolescents, college students, multi-performance level athletes, and older adults across settings. I have created and facilitated mindfulness groups within university settings, in addition to my involvement in programs like Girls in the Game, the Social Justice Leadership Academy, the Hip-Hop Heals Community of Practice, and the Expressive Arts Association.
I have contributed to the field of research in sport psychology and mental health with publications and presentations at multiple conferences and forums. Further, my work is informed by my experience as a collegiate student-athlete, as well as my interests in social justice, mindfulness practice, trauma-informed theory, and community mental health.
In my free time, I enjoy playing and watching sports, listening to music, engaging in creative activities, spending time with family and friends, and playing with my pitbull, Diamond.
